ÅSPEKT wasn’t started by a marketing team or a corporation. It began with a camera, a craving for simplicity, and a person who needed ease to function.
My perspective on work, energy, and life didn’t come from business books or industry experience. It came from a medical reality I had to learn to live with.
After being diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma, I underwent two brain surgeries and proton radiation, which permanently affected my endocrine system. I now live with adrenal insufficiency and related conditions, meaning my body no longer regulates stress, energy, or recovery in a typical way. Every day requires awareness. Energy is not assumed. It is managed, protected, and respected.
There was a time when even simple routines felt unpredictable. Pushing harder was not an option. Slowing down was not a mindset. It was necessary.
In that space, I found something unexpected in real estate photography. The structure of it. The quiet consistency. The way natural light moves through a home. The rhythm of walking room to room with intention. It gave me a sense of control and calm when everything else felt uncertain.
What started as a job became a system that worked with me instead of against me.
That perspective shaped how I see everything now. I do not believe in chaos as a requirement for success. I do not believe stress has to be part of the process. I believe things can be done with clarity, intention, and care, without sacrificing quality.

I understand how valuable time and energy are because I have had to protect mine every day. That perspective carries into every appointment, every edit, and every interaction.
